Disney made a bunch of announcements about their upcoming streaming service in this thread. It pretty much confirms long standing rumors. Only one announcement is Cosmic. I'll drop that under a cut. I have no idea whether to treat it as a spoiler, so I will cut just in case.



Tom Hiddleston will be starring in a Loki TV series. No idea about how that fits into the timeline, but feel free to speculate.

The one thing I remember about the Loki show is the Hollywood Reporter said something like, it would follow him throughout human history and witness how he influened historical events, which sounds almost like a Marvel one-shot or What If? thing. (They're also doing an animated What If? series.)

Feige said in interview it's all going to be connected with the MCU and part of the post-Endgame "Everything Changes" thing:

It will be MCU proper. Sometimes it will take place as Captain Marvel did in a time before current events, sometimes it will take place during. What I will say, whatever happens in those, in those shows and with characters that have been in the films, they’ll undergo transformations, not Loki necessarily, but will undergo transformations in their series and those transformations will be reflected in their next film appearances because we’ve been developing long form narrative stories for Disney plus at the exact same time that we’ve been developing a post-[Avengers: Endgame] MCU, we’ve been able to do something we’ve never done before, which is interweave them from the start, from the plant.

You'll see characters from the movies go to Disney+, be transformed or have their own arcs or have their own transformations thematically, and that will then be reflected in the next appearance in the movies.

Maybe that means Loki will come back in Endgame, or post-Endgame?? So far everyone who's been confirmed for a show died in IW. And if Vision comes back, maybe Loki and Heimdall and other Asgardians will too....?
