Gamora refuses to accept that she’s developed a crush, mostly because she’s never developed a crush before, and second-mostly because that would both prove Nebula right and make Nebula insufferable to deal with, both of which are undesirable options.

And, at any rate, she doesn’t have time for a crush, pretty green eyes and stupid dopey grins notwithstanding, because she has a plan and that plan is to escape, because no one wants to waste their college years stuck working for the evil mob boss who insists on calling himself your father. A very sweet modern AU that manages to make the canon characterizations still work.
