As people have had more time to reflect on the movie, we're getting more in-depth thoughts on it, which I've really enjoyed reading. And I'm always on the lookout for more, if people want to share!

kore posted some initial thoughts and then extensive additional squee.

sholio is hosting a discussion about aspects they liked but also aspects they found disappointing.

And it should go without saying, but if you disagree with someone's blog post and want to talk with them about it, please do so politely!

Actually I thought it was a lot more negative than that -- which is fine! But -- if you do want to ward off people going in there to argue, you might want to indicate how much they didn't like it, because I clicked in and saw "there was no there there" and was like, whoah, and it got way more harsh from then on. And the comments are basically elaborating at length and with vigor on how unsatisfying it was. Which again is fine, but you might want to warn for that?

Well, I don't want to misrepresent the post, for sure, but there are several paragraphs where the author lists all the things they liked about the movie, too. I found a lot of value in the conversation, which is why I found it worthwhile to link to. I will try to fiddle with the wording of the link, though.

Yeah, I don't think it was "haterade" at all, but it was much much more harsh than what I was expecting both from your link and their cut-tag.
