like a newsletter, but not? :D
The comm is really hopping lately, which makes me SO happy. Thanks you all for making things go. <3
I want to throw this out there as something I'd love to see, but which I don't have the time to do myself. You know how there used to be fandom newsletters on LJ that linked all the fic posted during that time interval? (Buffy fandom actually STILL has an active one,su_herald, if you want an example of what they looked like.) They were great for finding fic you might want to read. These days, gen, and weird rarepairs in particular tend to get lost if you're just browsing the fandom tag on AO3.
I have no desire to start a newsletter. HOWEVER, if anyone wanted to do something like that on a much smaller scale for the comm here, I think that would be neat. :D For example, maybe you would like to link all the Carol/Maria Rambeau fics posted in a week, or all the fics featuring Heimdall, or just all the GotG fic that looked personally interesting to you.
Basically, if you feel the urge to collect some links and drop them here, you would be most welcome. No commitment necessary! My feeling is that any promotion of those harder-to-find fics (and let's face it, most fic in the cosmic MCU fits that definition) is good promotion, whether it's exhaustive or not.
(It's possible I'm the only person here who finds links-collecting soothing, and so a project like this will just sound like work to everyone else. But, you know, maybe not? :D?)
