Chinese Endgame poster
(Is it all right to do another post for just this? Should we have a link gathering post? I just don't want to spam the comm.)
There's also a big Chinese banner which I'm not even going to try to link because it'd fuck up everyone's screen. It's really pretty though

Trailer poster, top to bottom and left to right: Thanos in the background; Tony; Scott, Bruce, Thor; Rhodey, Nat, Carol, Okoye; teentsy little Nebula; Clint And His Ronin Hair; Steve; Rocket (in front!). Rocket's wearing his goggles, Steve has scaled armour and is not wearing the TWS stealth suit, I think it's the one from CW -- the red stripe in the middle doesn't go all the way down and the star's outlined. Maybe the same suit that's really grunged up in Infinity War. And of course, he has THE SHIELD, no sign of the Wakandan arm guards. Nebula has a leather jacket and big gun, Okoye has her spear, Carol's not in the outfit she wore in the Captain Marvel credits scene (that uniform had a lot more gold on the shoulders). I think Rhodey's outfit is repeated from IW. Nat has the stun wands, red hair and maybe an energy pack on her back.

And the details that have left everybody heartbroken, the "fallen" in shadow below: Shuri, Vision, Bucky, T'Challa, Mantis, Peter Quill, Wanda, Fury, Gamora, Peter Parker, SAM (I had to blow it up to huge size to figure him out), Dr Strange, Drax and Groot. Mmmmmissing: my man Mmmmmm'Baku. (Also missing: Wasp, Sharon and Maria. Evangline Lilly did film for three weeks or something.) Nebula and Rocket have their new looks, but Okoye and Val look the same, so they might be getting new hero duds. Thor has Stormbreaker.
Tessa Thompson was SUPPOSEDLY on the same Edinburgh set as Thor and Rocket (I think this was the cathedral? place that also appears in a Thor movie?), so maybe Thor and Rocket have another mission in the movie about the missing half of the Asgardians who escaped. (I freely admit this is hopeful speculation on my part.)
Weirdest thing is Vision is with the "fallen," although he didn't get snapped (Loki and Heimdall aren't there). The idea was maybe Shuri would be able to fix him; maybe she's missing rather than dusted? Scott was also on the digital missing poster in one of the trailers, so maybe it's just people they can't find. Or that was a fakeout. I really don't want to believe Shuri got snapped, basically. -- Gamora's there too, does this mean we get her back?? Someone said that is Gamora's GOTG1 outfit, and Nebula may be wearing her leather jacket (she might pick this up in the scene from the trailer where we see her looking at a uniform on a chair). SOB.
The Russos list of who got snapped was: Betty Ross, Lady Sif, Actor Loki. "Too spoilery": Jane Foster, Korg and Miek, Shuri, and Ned Leeds. They seemed to indicate Nakia was alive. And Howard the Duck.
The Chinese banner: Thanos, Carol, Tony, Thor, Rhodey, and I got REALLY EXCITED because I thought it was Sam in flight but I think it's the Benatar; Scott, Steve, Okoye, Nebula; Clint, Rocket, Nat, and Bruce, AND the Hulkbuster, which looks totally like the one from IW.
Thoughts? Other little obsessive observations? Suggestions that I should really just relax and go outside more?

“His mother was dying of cancer when he was kidnapped by pirates at the age of 10. He was raised by pirates. He had to murder his father to avenge the death of his mother. His girlfriend, who he was in love with, was murdered by another corrupt paternal figure ... He made a very emotional choice,” said Joe Russo.
Anthony Russo reiterated that the shock of Gamora’s death just lets Star-Lord’s emotions get the better of him, adding that Thor also makes this mistake.
“Thor also let his emotions get the better of him. Thor could’ve killed Thanos more quickly than he tried to with the ax. He showed up, and he took a moment — because of his anger, because of his motivation — to tell Thanos that he told him he would die ... and finish him off in a very deliberate way. Thor sort of got lost in his emotions in a similar way as Star-Lord and could also have been responsible for Thanos.”
According to Joe Russo, the mistakes the characters make are all about relatability.
“They make very human choices. I think if we learn anything from narrative is to put yourself inside the POV of someone — or the character itself — you should be able to empathize with that character, understand the choices that they make,” he said.
(Like I said before, I can see how that works for Peter, because he's had that pattern of emotionally reacting with impulsive violence. It really doesn't work for me for Thor. But I did think it was an obvious parallel they set up, like with Steve's emotional connection to Bucky overpowering him, the same way Tony's emotions about his mother did, in Civil War.)

"Too spoilery": Jane Foster, Korg and Miek, Shuri, and Ned Leeds
We now know Shuri got snapped (NOOOO). Ned is in Far From Home, so either he didn't get snapped or they brought him back with everyone else? Korg and Miek's fate was revealed in that leaked footage. Jane Foster just got a Valkyrie solo book written by Al Ewing!! ....maybe a clue to her fate in MCU? Probably not.
