Favorite MCU Cosmic character: Loki

5 good qualities: He loves Thor. And his mom. He's snarky. And smart. And I love watching him fight, NGH.

3 bad qualities: He betrays Thor. He's a bundle of insecurities. He lies and plots and schemes (this might be a bad quality for a person, but it makes him FASCINATING to watch on screen).

favorite moment/scene/etc: I love the elevator scene between Loki and Thor in Thor: Ragnarok. HIS STUPID FACE.

otp: Loki/Tony. I've shipped them since the moment Tony realized that Loki wanted "a monument to the skies with his name plastered on it." (Also I've had a crush on RDJ since back before the internet was even a thing. I am old.)

brotp: Loki/Thor, of course, because they are literally bros. But for friendship, I love Loki & Bruce, and also Loki & Valkyrie.

ot3: Don't really have one. Maybe Loki/Tony/Bucky? Beause Bucky is HOMG HOT and also a former villain.

notp: I'm guilty of writing daddy!kink in the past, but I could never read or write Loki/Odin. Ick.

head canon: Unlike many Loki fans, I don't think he was under the influence of the mind stone during The Avengers. I do think he was operating under duress (because Thanos wouldn't be Thanos if he didn't threaten someone) but I also think Loki liked the idea of ruling Earth and went along with it because it suited his purposes at the time. I think now that he's played Odin for a few years, he's over the whole ruling thing and would rather just have fun causing trouble.

I'm not sure Gamora is my very favorite, but she's a favorite, anyway. <3

5 good qualities: Caring, loyal, incredibly skilled fighter, eyebrows of disdain, is working on acquiring some ethics.

3 bad qualities: Murdered a bunch of people, impatient, very comfortable solving problems with violence.

favorite moment/scene/etc: When she offers to kill Ego with Peter if things go badly, and we find out that Peter's been making drunken confessions to her about his childhood. Or maybe the scene where she hugs Nebula.

otp: Gamora/Nebula <333

brotp: Hmmm. I feel like Gamora is usually just barely hanging onto her patience with all the Guardians. Maybe Groot. I feel like she has a very chill and affectionate relationship with Groot.

ot3: Gamora/Drax/Peter. I think they would just balance each other in interesting ways.

notp: Um, Gamora/Thanos, I guess??? IDK, I ship Gamora with damn near everyone. I'm a little less enthusiastic about Gamora/Peter in fic, just because I don't feel like I need more than we got in canon, but I don't hate it or anything.

head canon: Well, obviously she and Nebula have fucked at least a few times back in the day, even if it wasn't an ongoing hookup situation. ;)

Hahahaha, I totally forgot about that line! Gamora is awesome. I agree, she seems to be on the edge of her patience all the time with all the Guardians.

She and Groot do have a great vibe.

5 good qualities: Independent, indomitable, funny, perceptive, and contrary to popular opinion I actually think he's intensely loyal to specific people.

notp: Thor/Loki....Sorry! I just can't. Which sucks cause you all have the best naughty fanart and every time I see it I'm squicked and turned on at the same time and it's really confusing!

head canon: Okay, so my big headcanon for Loki is that he's actually really, really stingy. Given that he builds a gold statue of himself and clearly likes clothes and food, I think most people assume he'd be pretty loose about his spending.

But in Norse legends, nearly all of Loki's tricks are to avoid paying for things. The conception of Sleipnir? Hey, if I distract this guy we can get a wall for free? The crafting of Mjolnir? Ooooh, if I bet my head I can get all these fine Dwarven crafts for free! If you look a TON of the legends boil down to "Loki/the gods didnt' want to pay for something so Loki tried to cut a deal/backstab someone and it backfires."

So although it has nothing to do with MCU Loki at all, I love to write him as a fussy gay that has really expensive taste, but who is also ridiculously thrifty. He's incredibly nit-picky about balancing the royal accounts, reads all the rules and labels for everything looking for loopholes, and combs through the royal budgets every year looking for ways to cut costs.

Meanwhile the other Asgardians are like "Bro? We literally have a whole city of gold bro???" And Loki is like, "Well, yeah, but this hammer is still over priced! Why should we pay if we can get it for free? fREeeeEeEEe~!"

I've also read a few Tony/Pepper/Loki fics that I really enjoyed, so maybe they are my ot3. That's it, I'm changing my answer.

Oh man, but Tony/Pepper/Loki is great too. I they’re definitely the more functional OT3, I can def see them all really developing deep bonds. Makes my answer sound a lot more shallow, I just think they’re HOT AF. haha

Loki/Valkyrie/Natasha

Oh man, I read that author's Loki/Natasha series and it was AMAZING. I have the threesomefic on my kindle, I just haven't gotten to it yet. Also your headcanon makes me lol but also fits very nicely with my headcanon that Loki turns out to have a knack for bartering for supplies for the ship, and thus becomes their chief supply officer, among other things.

Well I'm not going to pressure you, but I will say that it's really really fun. I enjoyed it a lot.

And man, now that I'm think about Loki and all these powerful ladies I really want to read him with Gamora. That would be hot AF.

Hi! I'm new here and to MCU fandom spaces in general. I guess this is as good a place to start as any <3

Let's go with Nebula.

5 good qualities: Brave, determined, self-sacrificing, resilient, and definitely has a world of good in her.
3 bad qualities: Her psyche is all over the place, not very good decision making, and definitely hyperviolent.
favorite moment/scene/etc: "You're the one who wanted to win, but I just wanted a sister!" Stupid scene made me cry.
otp: Nebula/Gamora, I am just getting into the fandom side of things but at this point I will take Nebula/any female character under the right circumstance.
brotp: Is it cheating to say Nebula & Gamora? I'm also interested in fics where she develops a tolerant-to-friendshiplike relationship with the rest of the Guardians.

head canon: I love the idea of Nebula having hair at one point -- although, full disclosure, I haven't yet read the pre-Guardians comic, so this is probably not canon to that.

I think that what really made Nebula and Gamora for me was Saldana and Gillan's acting. I mean, it's a fascinating dynamic to start but it was SO believably acted. They both perfectly captured all the complex nonverbals and emotionality in such a heartbreaking way.
