[scrap] GotG x Star Wars
Just something that popped into my head one day and wouldn't leave me alone. Space Pirates translate so easily over to Space Smugglers. Haven't developed it any further, but the idea still makes me grin.

The transmission finally ends on that unpleasant note, taking with it Jabba the Hutt’s ugly mug, and leaving them to stare once again into the infinite emptiness of space beyond. Yondu leans back with a creak of old hydraulics.
“E chu ta to you, too, ya bastard,” he says into the void, not that it does any good to anybody.
Over on the nav console, Kraglin lets out an impressed whistle, and tilts his screen toward the captain’s chair in response to Yondu’s raised eyebrow. He’s pulled up the illegal Holonet channel where the Hutts like to put out the word for jobs, announcements, invitations. And bounties.
“Hell,” Yondu says. The number of zeroes scrolling across the image field next to his name outstrips the Imperial bounty on his head by a couple orders of magnitude, and that’s saying something.
“We’re pretty well fucked,” Kraglin says, sounding almost proud of it.
They’re alone on the bridge, so Yondu lets himself groan and run a hand over his face. He feels his lips twitch upward into a grin mid-gesture, though, despite the exasperation. Who’d’a thought the kid actually had it in him. Anyway, the Rebellion probably needs that weapons stash more than the Hutts do, and considering what all he’s about to sacrifice thanks to Peter unexpectedly double-crossing his old man and scarpering off with said stash, he wishes them all the joy of its use. Stars willing, at least a lot of Imps are gonna die because of this stunt.
“Hold on,” Kraglin says. “They just posted a bounty on Quill, too. Damn, boss. It’s even higher than yours.”
“Kriff,” Yondu deadpans. “They grow up so fast.”
